WEBTOON And DC Announce Season Two of BATMAN: WAYNE FAMILY ADVENTURES Starts September 28

Did you enjoy Season 1 of Batman: Wayne Family Adventures? The Eisner Award nominated comic will begin its second season on September 28. Offering a slice-of-life look at the Batman family, the webcomic written by CRC Payne and art by StarBite came from a collaboration between WEBTOON and DC.

I appreciate that this new collaboration with WEBTOON has helped bring more attention to more members of the Batman family to a newer audience. There are some great characters in the comics that just don’t get much mainstream media attention, so any chance to let these other characters shine is great. I haven’t read this one yet, but I have been keeping up with some other comics that have come out of this collaboration, namely Zatanna and the Ripper, and I just started Red Hood: Outlaws and I have really been enjoying them.

The main thing I really like is that you don't necessarily have to have an in-depth knowledge of the characters to follow the story and enjoy it. Comic characters have a long and rich history behind them which can make it very intimidating for newer readers to jump into.
