WEBTOON Wants to Find the Next Best Action Comic with a Grand Prize of $50,000 and More in the Call to Action Contest

WEBTOON wants to give comic creators the chance to show off their coolest action moments with the Call to Action Contest. Announced last week, this contest wants you to show off those fight scenes in your head with some really big prizes in store. The top 10 submissions will get a license for Clip Studio Paint EX and between $5,000-50-000 depending on your placing, the top 3 will get offers to be WEBTOON Originals, and the grand prize winner will score an animated short. In addition, 10 honorable mention winners will each receive a license for Clip Studio Paint.

Submissions will be open from June 1 to July 31 with the following criteria. Your submission must be in English and full color. You get one episode with at least 60 panels to tell your story. This episode must contain “a blood-pumping brawl between at least 2 characters.” There are some additional things to keep in mind like file specifications which can be found in the official rules and FAQ. Starting August 1 and running through August 31, the comics will be judged based on audience engagement and judge-assigned scores. The winners will be announced on September 30.
