Weird and Funny Trailer for Hulu's DOLLFACE Sees Kat Dennings Rekindle Old Friendships When Her Boyfriend Dumps Her
We’ve got an odd but fun trailer for the Hulu original series Dollface. Kat Dennings (Thor, 2 Broke Girls). stars as Jules, a woman blindsided by being dumped by her long-time boyfriend. She begins to spiral when she runs into an imaginary woman with a cat’s head who is driving a bus to rescue Jules from her sorrow. She realizes that she needs to reconnect with her friends that she lost touch with while immersing herself in her now broken relationship.
Here’s the synopsis:
Dollface follows Jules (Kat Dennings), a young woman who – after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend – must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind.
Margot Robbie is producing the series, and Dennings’s lady friends are played by Brenda Song (The Social Network), Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars), and Esther Povitsky (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), with Beth Grant (The Mindy Project) as the Cat Lady.
