Wes Anderson and Adrien Brody Teamed Up for a Fantastic Christmas H&M Short Film - COME TOGETHER
Those of you who have been reading GeekTyrant for awhile know how much of a fan I am of director Wes Anderson. I completely dig his filmmaking style and sense of humor. Some of his films include Rushmore, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Moonrise Kingdom, and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Anderson recently teamed up again with actor Adrien Brody, who starred in The Darjeeling Limited, to direct a short film Christmas advertisement for H&M. It's called "Come Together," and Brody plays a train conductor named Ralph who works on a train called the Winter Express and has some unfortunate news for his passengers who are traveling on Christmas Day. They will be 11 hours late for their destination, but conductor Ralph is determined to make sure the passengers have a great Christmas.
It looks like Anderson had a lot of fun making this short, and it's packed full of all those things that we love about his movies! His signature filmmaking and storytelling style is all over this thing and I love it.
