Wes Anderson's RUSHMORE Recut With 90s Pop Music Gives The Movie a Completely Different Feel

Rushmore is such a fantastically fun movie, and easily one of director Wes Anderson's best films. One of the things that gives it its quirky personality is the music. The music perfectly sets the mood for the film. Kentucker Audley went ahead and replaced that music with several different popular songs from the era that the movie was made, which was in the 90s. The new music gives the film a completely different tone! Check it out.

RUSHMORE is good but it could have attracted a much bigger audience using the pop hits of the 90's. Thanks for watching! If you enjoyed, please follow Talkhouse's Vimeo channel for more video essays: https://vimeo.com/talkhouse
