Wesley Snipes Rumored to Return as BLADE in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

It has long been rumored that original Blade actor Wesley Snipes might be returning to the role in the current Marvel Cinematic Universe, but as we’ve gotten further away from the actor’s 1998 film, and since they cast the new Blade actor, Mahershala Ali, in the role, it has seemed less and less likely.

But rumors are swirling once again, as trusted industry scooper Daniel Richtman claims Snipes will reprise his role as Blade in the Multiverse Saga, and has "already signed to do some stuff there."

Reports are saying the most likely projects for Snipes to appear in would either be this summer's Deadpool & Wolverine, which we already know is set to feature a number of Variants and surprise guests, or Avengers: Secret Wars - unless the Blade reboot also includes some Multiverse elements.

We’ve personally heard that it will be Deadpool & Wolverine, but that’s something we’ll have to wait and see about.
