WESTWORLD Creators Release That Season 2 Spoiler Video as Promised and it Was a Big Elaborate Rickroll!

Yesterday Westworld creator Jonathan Nolan said that he would release a video spoiling the entire plot of Westworld Season 2 if his strange and unconventional idea got 1000 upvotes. Well, it got those votes and as promised he released a video. The video was accompanied by the following note:

“All right guys. We left this in your hands. Some may feel this is a drastic step, but I, for one, love and trust this community.”

The video, which has a 25-minute length, starts out serious enough with Jeffrey Wright's Bernard waking up on a beach. There he's met by Luke Hemsworth’s character Ashley Stubbs, Westworld’s Head of Security. Bernard is then taken in by a brand-new character Karl Strand, the DELOS Head of Security. Bernard is trying to remember how this all began. The whole thing looks like the opening of Season 2.

Then, all of a sudden actresses Angela Sarafyan (Clementine) and Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores) begin performing a rendition of Rick Astley‘s "Never Gonna Give You Up." Yep! The whole thing was just a big elaborate Rickroll! This might just be the greatest Rickroll ever!

I assumed that the whole thing might end up being a joke, and it was definitely a good one! Enjoy the video!

FULL SPOILERS for Westworld second season. Proceed with caution. Warning: Contains violence. This video only accessible for Reddit Gold Members.
