WESTWORLD Season 2 Ratings Were Down 30% From Season 1

Ratings were down 30% in Westworld's Season 2 finale (via Variety) when compared to Season 1, which is quite a drop for the HBO drama. Of course, sophomore slumps are nothing new on television, but there's definitely a question of what led so many people to tune out by the time the show was done with its 10-episode second season.

I don't know about you guys, but for me personally, this season was hard to watch. I understood what was happening when it was presented to me, but by the time some of the show's mysteries were revealed I was thinking back trying to remember their significance. In fact I got so caught up in the show's mysteries I really didn't take the time to enjoy the season at all, although it might just be that I didn't like this season. 

Having said that I did like the ending, and I am excited to see where the series is headed going forward. What are your thoughts on Westworld Season 2, and why do you think so many people tuned out?
