What Was Wesley Snipes Reaction to Mahershala Ali's Casting in Marvel's BLADE Reboot?

To be honest, I lost it when Mahershala Ali was announced as Blade in the MCU. He is an outstanding actor and I think he will bring a lot of weight to the role. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t care what anyone says, I love Wesley Snipes’ version of the character and I will never speak ill of it. However, if they were to recast The Day Walker, they did the perfect job. Does this put the final nail in the coffin for the Marvel shows on Netflix? Not necessarily, as long as you keep an open mind.

Anyway, ComicBook was able to ask Snipes about how he felt with the recasting of Blade and this is what he had to say:

What a gracious response. I am glad that someone in Hollywood is taking the higher road. This doesn’t say that he won’t be in the movie. We don’t know what the release date of this film will be so we have absolutely no details on the story. All we know is that Ali is 100% Blade, the rest is to be seen.
