WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS Season 5 Set to Premiere This Summer!
FX has already renewed What We Do in the Shadows for fifth and sixth seasons, and it was just announced that Season 5 is set to premiere this summer on July 13 on FX! The new episodes will also be available on Hulu next day.
This series is based on the hilarious feature film by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, the series documents the nightly exploits of vampire roommates Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).
The show presents a mockumentary-style format, documenting the mundane and absurd aspects of vampire existence as they navigate modern society and it comedy is freakin funny! This is always such an enjaoyble series to watch.
The main characters include Nandor, the self-proclaimed leader of the group; Laszlo, a centuries-old vampire with a mischievous nature; Nadja, a seductive and cunning vampire; and Colin Robinson, an energy vampire who feeds off the boredom and annoyance of others.
Throughout the series, the vampires encounter various challenges and comedic situations, including dealing with their human familiar, Guillermo. They also face conflicts with other supernatural beings, such as werewolves and witches.
