Why Did BABY DRIVER Director Edgar Wright Leave This Note On a Parked Car?

For most people finding a piece of paper tucked under a windshield wiper is never a good thing. It is usually a bad a thing, whether it's a parking ticket or a note from someone telling you they have hit your car and you need to reach out to insurance, it's usually a bummer.

But for one driver, this piece of paper turned out to be an ultimate compliment. Baby Driver director Edgar Wright posted on twitter a couple of photos showing why he felt the need to leave a note for one particular car.

Wright spotted a fun window decal that read "Baby on Board" and featured the main character of his latest film Baby Driver. He then left a note that read: "From the director of Baby Driver, I approve, Edgar Wright." You can see his tweet showing the note and decal below.

A short time later the owner of that car, Lauren Goette tweeted her thanks to Wright for the kind note.

And in a strange twist, this wasn't the fist time Goette has had an encounter with the director, tweeting: "Also, we've met before... at the Baby Driver signing at Amoeba! It's a crazy small world".
