Wickedly Insane First Trailer For Syfy's Upcoming Series HAPPY! Follows a Disgraced Cop and an Imaginary Cartoon Horse
The Syfy Channel has released the first trailer for their upcoming series Happy! and this show looks like it's going to be absolutely bonkers! And I mean that in the best way possible! The series is based on Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s crazy graphic novel of the same name and it tells the tale of a disgraced cop turned assassin, who after being shot, wakes up and is able to see an imaginary flying horse who tasks him with finding a missing girl.
Just wait until you see this trailer because it's insanely wild! The show looks like some kind of live-action animated hybrid... but it's on speed. That's probably because it comes from the same guys who worked on Crank.
The series features a great cast that includes Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: SVU) as Nick Sax – "an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hit man – who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. After a hit gone wrong, his inebriated life is forever changed by a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue winged horse named Happy", who is voiced by Patton Oswalt).
