Wil Wheaton Is Set to Narrate Ernest Cline’s READY PLAYER TWO Audiobook

It was recently announced that Ready Player Two, the highly anticipated sequel to Ernest Klien’s Ready Player One, would be released on November 24th. We’ve now learned that Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Bing Bang Theory), who did a wonderful job narrating the first audiobook, is returning to narrate the Ready Player Two audiobook.

The story is set in a near-future dystopia where people escape the real world to instead live their lives in an expansive virtual universe called the OASIS where they can create their own reality.

The OASIS was created by James Halliday, and when dies, he promises his immense fortune to the first person to discover a digital Easter egg that's hidden somewhere in the OASIS. The first novel follows young Wade Watts as he joins the contest and finds himself becoming an unlikely hero in a reality-bending treasure hunt through a fantastical world of mystery, discovery, and danger.

We still have no story details to share for Ready Player Two, but I can’t wait to see what kind of crazy adventure that the story takes these characters on next!
