Wild FLUSH Trailer Unleashes a Toilet-Bound Horror Comedy Nightmare

Some horror movies trap their characters in haunted houses, underground bunkers, or cabins in the woods. Flush sticks its hero headfirst into a filthy squat toilet and basically says, “Good luck.”

Dark Sky Films has released the official trailer for the wonderfully ridiculous French horror comedy, and this thing looks gross, twisted, claustrophobic, and very funny. The entire nightmare unfolds inside a club bathroom, proving once again that horror filmmakers will find terror pretty much anywhere.

The story follows Luke, a middle-aged cocaine addict who heads to a shady club hoping to win back his girlfriend. Instead, he gets tangled up in a drug deal that goes horribly wrong and ends up left for dead with his head jammed into the hole of a squat toilet.

The official synopsis reads: “Trying to win back his girlfriend in a shady club, Luke (starring R. Jonathan Lambert) finds himself in the middle of a drug deal gone wrong. Left for dead with his head stuck in the hole of a squat toilet, he must survive a nightmarish night involving dangerous dealers, a junkie rat, and an ever-increasing series of totally crazy circumstances.”

If the toilet situation wasn't miserable enough, Luke also has to deal with dangerous drug dealers, increasingly grotesque circumstances, and a junkie rat. Think of the infamous toilet sequence from Trainspotting, except somebody decided that kind of experience deserved an entire movie.

R. Jonathan Lambert stars as Luke, with Élodie Navarre, Elliot Jenicot, and Rémy Adriaens rounding out the cast.

French genre filmmaker Grégory Morin directs Flush from a screenplay by David Neiss. Morin previously directed Ultimate Zombie Feast along with several horror shorts.

Flush originally premiered at the 2025 Fantasia Film Festival before making the rounds at other festivals, and now its gloriously nasty bathroom nightmare is heading to a wider audience.

There are plenty of horror movies where you can guess where things are headed. A movie about a drug addict trapped headfirst in a squat toilet while fighting for his life against dealers and a drugged-up rat isn't one of them.

Dark Sky Films will release Flush direct-to-VOD in the U.S. on October 9th, 2026.

Check out the trailer and prepare yourself for one seriously crappy night. Pun intended.
