Wild New Character Posters Show Off the Crazy Style of the Upcoming STREET FIGHTER Movie
The Game Awards dropped plenty of surprises, but the reveal that stole the show for fans was the first full look at the wild-looking new Street Fighter movie.
Paramount Pictures and Capcom came in swinging with an action-heavy trailer that leaned into vibrant energy. It feels ripped straight from Street Fighter VI and refuses to tone down the outlandish designs that define this franchise.
Soon after the trailer hit, the studio unleashed a batch of character posters that highlight just how unrestrained this adaptation plans to be.
The posters show off a cast decked out in some seriously colorful gear and the production seems determined to capture each fighter’s iconic look with unapologetic commitment and sets the stage for a movie that appears fully ready to revel in the series’ chaotic fun.
The designs look great across the board and this thing is shaping up to be an absolute blast for longtime fans and newcomers who want something wild and stylish on the big screen.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film brings the classic World Warrior Tournament to life when it arrives in theaters October 2026. The setup puts Andrew Koji’s Ryu and Noah Centineo’s Ken back in each other’s orbit after Chun Li pulls them into a new round of global combat.
The official synopsis reads: “Set in 1993, estranged Street Fighters Ryu and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament: a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury.”
The stacked cast list mirrors the colorful world these posters tease. Centineo channels Ken Masters while Koji embodies Ryu. Jason Momoa goes full creature mode as Blanka and Roman Reigns becomes Akuma.
Callina Liang steps in as Chun Li, Curtis Jackson takes on Balrog, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, and Eric André as Don Sauvage.
The ensemble continues with Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as Zangief, and Hirooki Goto as E Honda. Mel Jarnson portrays Cammy and Rayna Vallandingham appears as Juli.
With the trailer showcasing its energetic neon world and these posters reinforcing the playful madness of the character designs, this adaptation is leaning into everything that makes Street Fighter such a beloved franchise.
Paramount brings Street Fighter to theaters on October 16, 2026. Are you excited!?
