Wicked Fun New Trailer for The Foo Fighters' Rock Band Horror Movie STUDIO 666

Open Road Films has released the full trailer for the Foo Fighters’ rock band horror-comedy Studio 666. This movie looks like it’ll be filled with wild and wicked fun!

The movie follows the band that embarks on a journey to record their 10th studio album. As they set out to accomplish this, things take a strange and creepy turn.

In the story, “the legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.”

It’s explained, "The trouble is, frontman Dave Grohl is creatively blocked, and when evil forces in the house sink into his consciousness, the creative juices begin flowing but so does the blood. Can Foo Fighters' complete the album, with the band still alive to tour?"

The story for the film came from Grohl, and it was actually shot at Grohl's own Studio 606. The film also stars Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, plus Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, and Jeff Garlin.

Studio 666 was directed by BJ McDonnell (Hatchet III), and it will be released in theaters on February 25th, 2022.
