Wildly Fun New Trailer for the New Season of FUTURAMA!
Thanks to Hulu, Futurama is coming back for an all-new season! It’s been almost a decade since the animated series previously ended its run, but it’s really coming back, and today we have the first full trailer for you to watch!
This trailer gives us a look and what’s in store for Futurama Season 11 and the wild new adventures that the Planet Express crews find themselves on. This next season looks like it’s going to be a blast! I love this show, and this next season is also going to continue story threads from the original run of the series.
The synopsis reads: “After a brief ten-year hiatus, Futurama has crawled triumphantly from the cryogenic tube, its full original cast and satirical spirit intact. The 10 all-new episodes of season 11 have something for everyone. New viewers will be able to pick up the series from here, while long-time fans will recognize payoffs to decades-long mysteries — including developments in the epic love story of Fry and Leela, the mysterious contents of Nibbler’s litter box, the secret history of evil Robot Santa, and the whereabouts of Kif and Amy’s tadpoles. Meanwhile there’s a whole new pandemic in town as the crew explores the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture, and streaming TV.”
The voice cast includes Billy West as Philip J. Fry, John DiMaggio as Bender, Katey Sagal as Leela, as well as Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr, and David Herman.
Fry, Leela, Bender, and the rest of the team will return in Hulu’s revival on July 24th.
