Will Ferrell and Jason Momoa to Star in GALAXY QUEST/OCEAN'S 11-Style Comedy
Paramount has acquired an untitled comedy project that will buddy up Will Ferrell and Jason Momoa (Aquaman). Not a lot is known about the movie but sources described the movie to Deadline Hollywood:
"...Galaxy Quest meets Ocean’s Eleven, with Ferrell a washed up TV star reuniting with his now grown TV show son (Momoa) who has become a huge star."
Andy Mogel & Jarrad Paul will write it, they are both known for recently creating the FOX comedy The Grinder. Stoller also directed Neighbors and Storks.
Buddy comedies either work really well or they don't. Ferrell has done both. It will be interesting to see how these two actors play off of each other. Its clear their character types are very different. What do you guys think?
