Will Ferrell (SNL, Old School, Elf) has joined the cast of Warner Bros. and Mattel’s upcoming live-action film, Barbie. He joins the stars of the film, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, who will be playing Barbie and Ken, as well as America Ferrara, Kate McKinnon, and Simu Liu in undisclosed roles. It is unknown who Ferrell will be playing as well.

Greta Gerwig is directing the pic from a script she co-wrote with Noah Baumbach.

There is no synopsis or plot line released yet for the movie, but the cast and crew is solid, so I expect we will see a film with a solid concept. I’m excited to see what they have in store. Barbie is currently in production.
