Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, and Will Forte Set To Star in The Animated Comedy STRAYS

Will Ferrell (The Shrink Next Door), Jamie Foxx (Just Mercy), and Will Forte (MacGruber) are set to star in the new animated comedy film project Strays. The movie is set up at Universal Pictures and its being directed by Josh Greenbaum, who recently made Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.

The story for the film follows “an abandoned dog (Ferrell) who teams up with other strays, including one portrayed by Foxx, to get revenge on his former owner (Forte).” The movie will combine CGI and live-action elements.

Any movie involving animals tends to be a big hit with kids, and I’m sure this one will end up being a movie that young audiences will enjoy.

The script for the film comes from American Vandal‘s Dan Perrault and it’s currently in post-production. Greenbaum is producing alongside Picturestart’s Erik Feig, Louis Leterrier, Phil Lord, and Chris Miller.
