Will Forte Is Developing a MACGRUBER Series for Peacock, and More Shows Have Been Announced

We’ve got some new info from the upcoming NBC-owned streaming service, Peacock, about some of the new series that are headed to the streamer. They include MacGruber, a spin-off from the SNL skit and movie starring Will Forte; Clean Slate, starring and co-written by Laverne Cox and George Wallace; Expecting, a series executive-produced by The Office and The Mindy Project alum Mindy Kaling; Division One, a coming-of-age comedy co-written by Maggie Carey and Julie Brownell and executive produced by Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions; The Adventure Zone, an animated fantasy/comedy series, as well as an anthology drama series, with a first installment entitled Hatching Twitter, which “goes behind the meteoric rise of the tech company.”

Peacock has also previously announced the reboots of Queer As Folk, Punky Brewster, and Saved by the Bell. Deadline provides the following full descriptions of the new series. Check them out, and let us know what you’re most excited about! Peacock will launch this April.
