Will Lex Luthor Wear His Warsuit in BATMAN V SUPERMAN?
Some new details regarding Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice have surfaced regarding Lex Luthor and the classic warsuit that he uses to fight Superman in the comics. A lot of fans have been wondering if he'll pop up in the movie wearing that, and thanks to JoBlo we have an answer for you! If you don't want to know what that answer is, stop reading now!
When talking about the look of Luthor's character in the movie, director Zack Snyder said:
"He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure. Other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course. Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there."
Lex will also apparently be a man of action as well. In regards to his trademark green and purple warsuit, the answer is yes, he will be wearing it. Here is what JoBlo reports:
"According to a very trusted and reliable source, not only will Lex be the main villain, but he will also get in on the action...and will do so wearing his trademark green/purple WARSUIT! That's right, we will finally be seeing Lex don the armor he's worn for decades in the comics and various animated series/films."
They go on to tease what the suit will look like in the movie:
"Our source says it will be very much like the many variations we've seen in the past and will obviously fit the style and look of the film (and DCCU films in general). Lex will don the suit for at least part of the film, but it's unclear if it's just in the finale. Either way, he'll be rockin' the suit and that more than likely means a throwdown with Supes (although we can't outright confirm that)."
It's going to be quite a sight to see watching Jesse Eisenberg's Lex fighting Henry Cavil's Superman. I'm sure the battle will be epic. At least I hope it is! It's not surprising to hear that the warsuit would be in the movie. After all, Snyder and Warner Bros. seem to be packing in as much as they possibly can, which worries the hell out of me. As we reported over the weekend, Doomsday will also play a pretty hefty villainous role in the film.
At least we know we'll get some cool-looking fight sequences. Hopefully the talent behind the film's development can give us a great story and script as well.
