Will MMA Fighter Sage Northcutt Play Ivan Drago's Son in CREED 2?
Sylvester Stallone is currently in development on Creed 2. He's set to reprise his role of Rocky Balboa and he's also going to direct the movie. We know the movie will see the return of Dolph Lundgren as Ivan Drago and the story will involve his son. I imagine that we'll see Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Creed step into the ring with him to fight.
Well, MMA fighter Sage Northcutt is hoping to play Ivan Drago's son in the movie. During an interview with MMAFighting.com, Northcutt said that he was going to audition for the film and even made an audition tape. He says:
“The new Creed 2 movie is coming out so I was actually going to audition for that. Got a little audition tape, so hopefully that goes through. That would be pretty neat. Being Ivan Drago’s son in the movie? That would be pretty fun. Sylvester Stallone seems like a really cool guy, and Dolph Lundgren seems awesome. I think me and Mr. Dolph Lundgren look kind of alike.”
The 21-year-old definitely has the look! There's a photoshopped image of him that you can check out, but even without the photoshop he looks like he could fit the role. You can check out a couple of photos below. I have no idea if he's a good actor or now, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

The fact that he's preparing to audition for the film, seemingly confirms that Drago's son will be a part of the story as previously rumored. It would make complete sense to see Drago's son fight Apollo Creed's son.
Creed 2 hits theaters on November 21, 2018.
