Will Smith's MATRIX Project Is Just Connected to a New Music Project
Will Smith took to social yesterday and shared a video teasing some kind of Matrix project. A lot of fans thought it would be a new movie, but that’s not the case.
According to Deadline, “The whole tease is connected to a new music project that Smith has underway.” And now there’s nothing interesting for me to be interested in or excited about.
The video revealed the following: Wake up, Neo…” That is followed by a typed-out message: “The Matrix has you. Follow the white rabbit.
“In 1997, the Wachowskis offered Will Smith the role of Neo in The Matrix. Smith turned it down. He chose Wild Wild West, believing it was a better fit for him at the time.
“But the question remains: What would The Matrix have been like with Will Smith as Neo? Wake up, Will… The Matrix has you.”
So, with this recent update, we’ll still never know what The Matrix would’ve been like with Smith as Neo.
