Willem Dafoe is an Art Thief Trapped in a Penthouse in Trailer For The Heist Thriller INSIDE
Willem Dafoe has a heist thriller coming out titled Inside and the first trailer has been released by Focus Features. I love watching Dafoe in the films that he stars in. He’s just so damn talented and his performances are always absolutely captivating.
In this upcoming movie, Inside, Dafoe plays an art thief who ends up getting trapped inside a New York penthouse after it locks down while he’s in the middle of a heist. And when I say locked down, I mean like a panic room-style lockdown. He’s not going anywhere.
He’s then forced to go into survival mode as there’s no running water, and very little food. All that he has is art surrounding him that’s worth millions of dollars. As you might imagine, he starts to go a little mad. He’s going to deliver an awesome performance in this movie! It’s looks like it’s going to be quite an intense movie-going experience.
The synopsis reads: “INSIDE tells the story of Nemo, an art thief trapped in a New York penthouse after his heist doesn’t go as planned. Locked inside with nothing but priceless works of art, he must use all his cunning and invention to survive.”
The film was directed by Vasilis Katsoupis from a script written by Ben Hopkins and I’m looking forward to watching it when it comes to theaters on March 10, 2023.
