WIND RIVER: THE NEXT CHAPTER adds Alan Ruck and Gil Birmingham To The Cast
Wind River actor Gil Birmingham is set to return for the sequel Wind River: The Next Chapter in the role of Martin, and joining him are Alan Ruck (Succession), Kali Reis (Catch the Fair One), and Tatanka Means (Killers of the Flower Moon).
They join the previously cast Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), Scott Eastwood (The Outpost), Chaske Spencer (The English), and Martin Sensmeie, who reprises his role as Wind River local Chip Hanson.
In Wind River: The Next Chapter, “terror has escalated on the Wind River reservation as a series of ritualistic murders remain unsolved. The FBI enlists Chip Hanson, a newly minted tracker for the U.S. Fish & Game, who becomes embroiled in a desperate and dangerous fight between the authorities, a vigilante, and the Reservation he calls home.”
Castle Rock Entertainment is producing the sequel to Taylor Sheridan’s original film and it’s being directed by Kari Skogland (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) from a script written by Patrick Massett and John Zinman (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Gold).
