The long-awaited fantasy anime has officially locked in its premiere date, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated anime releases of 2026.

Originally slated for 2025, the adaptation was pushed back, and now we know exactly when it’s arriving. Witch Hat Atelier will premiere on April 6, 2026, at 11:00 PM JST, which translates to 7:00 AM PT and 10:00 AM ET for fans in the United States.

The new trailer from Bug Films also unveils the opening theme, “Eat the Wind by Yorushika,” and the ending theme, “Just a Beautiful Curse by Nakamura.” On top of that, we finally have the full main voice cast.

Based on the beloved manga by Kamome Shirahama, the story follows Coco, a young girl who stumbles into the hidden world of magic after discovering the truth behind how witches actually cast spells.

What unfolds is a beautifully illustrated fantasy about knowledge, power, and the cost of both. It’s whimsical, mysterious, and packed with intricate world-building that manga readers have been raving about for years.

Previously, only Coco and Qifrey’s actors had been announced. Now the complete main cast has been revealed:
