WIZARDS & SPELLS is a Fantastic Fourth Addition to the YOUNG ADVENTURERS Series

Wizards & Spells is the fourth book in the Dungeons & Dragons Young Adventurer’s Guide series from Jim Zub and Stacy King. Previous books focused on monsters, dungeons, and the less magical classes thhat players may use and/or encounter. As you might guess, Wizards & Spells is all about the magical classes including Bards, Clerics, Druids, Sorcerers, Warlocks, and Wizards.

Wizards & Spells is a very handy tool to help anyone, but especially new players, to better understand what each of these classes is and what their differences are. Along the way, you’ll also learn about some legendary characters from D&D lore such as the famous Mordenkainen. The classes and characters aren’t the only things that this book has to offer. You’ll be able to learn about a wide variety of spells across all nine levels with each one also having a couple of tips for you to use in your games.

The final part of Wizards & Spells is all about Magic Items. In this section you’ll see beautiful art depicting some great Magic Items including the Staff of the Adder, Dagger of Venom, or even the Sunsword.

Wizards & Spells is simple like its predecessors, and that’s a great thing. It’s a great tool for new players and veterans alike. Simple isn’t always bad and this book is proof. The art is beautiful and really helps everything come alive as you read.
