WOKE Gets Second Season Renewal at Hulu

A couple of months ago, Hulu premiered a new series from Marshall Todd and Keith Knight called Woke. I personally enjoyed the series and am happy about the recent announcement that Hulu has decided to renew the comedy series for a second season. There’s a lot of work ahead for Keef and his friends and Lamorne Morris is absolutely amazing in the role.

Starring Lamorne Morris, Woke takes an absurdist look at identity and culture through the lens of Keef – a Black cartoonist finally on the verge of mainstream success, when an unexpected incident changes everything. With a newfound consciousness, Keef must navigate the new voices and ideas challenging him, all without setting aflame to everything he’s already built.

There’s no word yet on when the second season of Woke will be available, but the series stars Morris alongside T. Murph and Blake Anderson with Sasheer Zamata and Rose McIver guest starring.
