Back in 2016, Bat in the Sun delivered an awesome fan film that imagines a collision course between Marvel and DC in X-MEN MISSION: Themyscira, a viral short that opens with Wolverine being dropped onto Themyscira by Cyclops and instantly running into Wonder Woman, who isn’t exactly in the mood for uninvited guests.

The short uses the clash to explore how the raw ferocity of the X-Men’s most dangerous brawler stacks up against the disciplined power of DC’s legendary Amazon warrior.

The short became a hit thanks to its slick fight choreography, faithful character portrayals, and the thrill of seeing two iconic universes collide in a way the big studios still won’t touch.

While the title playfully echoes NASA’s real-world THEMIS mission, this version of Themyscira is all about comic book chaos, making it a must-watch throwback for fans who love seeing Wolverine and Wonder Woman share the same battlefield.
