WONDER PARK Trailer Brings an Imaginary Amusement Park to Life

Wonder Park is a new animated film coming from Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon. It will follow a young amusement park enthusiast who needs to help revive the magical park that she and her mom created from chimpanzombies.

That will make a lot more sense when you watch the trailer below. In all honesty, this has some potential. To me, it feels like the inspiration came from games like Roller Coaster Tycoon where players can create their own amusement parks. The story seems a little refreshing, but I fear it’s going to be too predictable and cookie-cutter to really be great.

Wonder Park tells the story of a magnificent amusement park where the imagination of a wildly creative girl named June comes alive.

Wonder Park has undergone quite a few changes since it started. It was originally called Amusement Park and was set in the 90s. However, in the newest trailer June takes a selfie for what looks like Instagram which means the setting has changed.

Also, Wonder Park was originally directed by Dylan Brown and Nickelodeon is planning a TV series to be based on the film. No specific release date for the series has been announced but Wonder Park will release on March 15, 2019.

The cast includes Matthew Broderick, Norbert Leo Butz, Ken Hudson Campbell, Jennifer Garner, Ken Jeong, Mila Kunis, John Oliver, and Kenan Thompson.

When the park of her dreams needs saving, only June's imagination can bring it back to life. Watch the new trailer for #WonderPark now, and don't miss it in theatres March 15.
