WONDER WOMAN Drastically Raised The Bar For The DCEU Films

I finally got a chance to see Wonder Woman and that film is proof that DC Entertainment has the potential to make great films based on their superhero characters! I was really hoping that director Patty Jenkins was going to be able to pull this off and she ended up making a fantastic film that was incredibly fun to watch! She knocked it out of the park! 

Whether or not you're a fan of the Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, or Suicide Squad, I think we can all agree that Wonder Woman is by far the best film of the DCEU so far. Wonder Woman completely raised the bar for the DCEU films and I hope that the future films currently in development at the studio will at least be able to reach this new standard of film making and storytelling that has been set. 

Wonder Woman has everything a great movie needs, most importantly it has a solid story and script, as well as great character development. Then there's the whole emotional element that it had. These are all things that I’ve felt the previously released DCEU films have lacked for the most part. I also enjoyed the tone of the film, which was filled with hope. I've been waiting for a DCEU film to radiate that hopeful tone and we finally got it. There are also the crazy cool action sequences that included stuff I’ve never really seen done before. 

I also have to point out how much I loved Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman! She was perfect in the role and gave an amazing performance. She was also charming as hell! I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. We didn’t really get a chance to see any real character development for her in Batman v Superman, but now I can see the full vision of Wonder Woman that the studio has, and I’m excited about her future! I also really enjoyed Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. He gave a great performance, as did all of the actors in the movie. 

Wonder Woman was everything that I hoped it would be. Now I hope that the future DCEU films that are currently being made at Warner Bros. will follow in its footsteps of greatness. Wonder Woman could be the beginning of a new awesome trend of DC superhero films that both audiences and critics will love and enjoy!
