WONDER WOMAN Set to Shoot Later this Year
We all know Gal Gadot will be playing the legendary Wonder Woman in the new movie being developed at Warner Bros. What we didn’t know, until now, is when exactly they would start filming said movie. Thanks to Deadline, we have an answer to that. They report that Wonder Woman is set to shoot this fall for a theatrical release on June 23th, 2017. So we still have quite a wait.
Michelle MacLaren, director of Breaking Bad and Walking Dead, will be directing the Wonder Woman movie which features a script by Jason Fuchs, who has written the films Ice Age:
Continental Drift and the upcoming Pan. Also, in recent rumors, the movie is said to kick off a trilogy, with the first set back in the 1920s, revealing Themyscira’s first encounter with
the outside world.
Gadot will be making her first cinematic appearance as Wonder Woman in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which comes out on March 25th, 2016.
