Wonderful Featurette for INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY Focuses on Indy's Final Adventure

Lucasfilm has released a must-watch featurette for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The promo includes interviews with members of the cast and crew such as director James Mangold, Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Kathleen Kennedy, and they talk about the Indiana Jones legacy and the kind of story they wanted to tell for Indy’s final adventure.

Ford says in the promo that he “felt good and they we had made a film the audience deserved. I feel confident that we’re going to knock their socks off.” The movie recently premiered at Cannes Film Festival and the first reactions to it have been positive. The movie got a five-minute standing ovation and it brought Ford to tears. I can’t wait to watch this movie!

The movie is set in 1969 during the Space Race, with Indiana Jones being pulled into another grand adventure, which involves Voller, a NASA member and ex-Nazi involved with the Moon landing program, who wants to "rectify the world and make it into a better place as he sees fit." He’s looking to correct the mistakes that Hitler made when he was in power with the Dial of Destiney artifact.

The film comes from producer Steven Spielberg, and it also stars Mads Mikkelsen (Another Round), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Shaunette Renée Wilson (The Resident), and Thomas Kretschmann (Avengers: Age Of Ultron).

The film will open in theaters on June 30, 2023.
