Wonderful New Trailer For A WRINKLE IN TIME - "Have Faith in Who You Are"
Disney has released a new trailer for director Ava DuVernay's big screen adaptation of the imaginative adventure A Wrinkle In Time. The film is based on the classic 1961 book by Madeleine L’Engle, which is a book that I enjoyed reading when I was a kid. This film looks like it's going to be an excellent and visually spectacular adaptation of this classic story, which "takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light."
The trailer showcases more of the amazing worlds the main character Meg Murry will discover. The movie stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peňa and introducing Storm Reid, with Zach Galifianakis and Chris Pine. Here's the synopsis:
Meg Murry and her little brother, Charles Wallace, have been without their scientist father, Mr. Murry, for five years, ever since he discovered a new planet and used the concept known as a tesseract to travel there. Joined by Meg’s classmate Calvin O’Keefe and guided by the three mysterious astral travelers known as Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which, the children brave a dangerous journey to a planet that possesses all of the evil in the universe.
A Wrinkle in Time hits theaters March 9, 2018. Are you excited about this movie?
