Wonderful Trailer For an 80s Beach-Set Coming-of-Age Film AGE OF SUMMER
"The events of that summer would change my life…"
As someone who enjoyed spending lots of time at the beach growing up, there tends to be a special place in my heart for films that are set at the beach and/or revolve around surf life. Today I've got a fantastic trailer here for you to watch for a wonderful coming-of-age film called Age of Summer, and it's the kind of film that speaks to me. There are a lot of things shown in this trailer that I can relate to.
The story centers around an awkward teen "who is a recent transplant to a small Southern California beach town tries to fit in with the locals in the summer of 1983. After his most precious possession is stolen he finds himself on a journey of self-discovery, as he attempts to reclaim it."
The movie stars Peter Stormare, Jake Ryan, Brian Van Holt, Diarmaid Murtagh, Percy Hynes White, Kane Ritchotte, and Madeleine Wade. Age of Summer will be released on September 7th. Check out the trailer below and let us know if it looks like something you might enjoy as well.
