Wonderful Trailer for Kenneth Branagh's BELFAST - "You Never Forget Where You Came From"
Focus Features has released the first trailer for director Kenneth Branagh’s new film Belfast. The film tells “a poignant story of love, laughter and loss in one boy’s childhood, amid the music and social tumult of the late 1960s.”
Branagh has quite a unique filmmaking career as an actor, writer, director, and producer. He’s worked on big tentpole films like Marvel’s Thor and Murder on the Orient Express and little indie Shakespearean movies like Henry V and Hamlet. He’s also starred in a ton of movies, most recently in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet.
Like any filmmaker, he’s had some hits and misses, but this next film of his, Belfast, looks like a wonderful film that some audiences will enjoy. I like movies that tell these kinds of stories, and I’m looking forward to watching this one.
The movie stars Caitriona Balfe, Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan, Ciaran Hinds, and Jude Hill. Belfast will be released in theaters on November 12. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think!
