Wonderful Trailer For The Father and Son Film MADE IN ITALY with Liam Neeson
IFC Films has released a trailer for an upcoming film titled Made in Italy. The movie was written and directed by actor James D'Arcy (Homeland, Avengers: Endgame). The film tells a father and son story and Liam Neeson stars in the movie as a London artist who returns to Tuscany, Italy with his estranged son, to sell the house they inherited from his late wife.
The movie also stars Micheál Richardson, Valeria Bilello, Lindsay Duncan, Marco Quaglial, Gian Marco Tavani, and Helena Antonio. It looks like a wonderfully made movie filled with heart, and this is the synopsis:
Made in Italy is a heart-warming father son story set in glorious Tuscany about bohemian London artist Robert (Liam Neeson), who returns to Italy with his estranged son Jack (Micheál Richardson) to make a quick sale of the house they inherited from his late wife. Neither expects to find the once beautiful villa in such a state of disrepair… Renovations go badly, with father and son soon finding themselves at odds. Robert’s comical lack of DIY experience leads him to seek help from some colourful locals including the no nonsense Kate (Lindsay Duncan), an ex-pat now making her living selling villas who quickly captures his attention.
I enjoy a good heart-warming story and this is a movie that I’ll be looking forward to seeing. Made in Italy will be available to watch on all formats including drive-in and VOD starting on August 7th.
