Woody Harrelson and James Marsden Investigate The Iraq War in Trailer For SHOCK AND AWE

Woody Harrelson and James Marsden star in the upcoming film Shock and Awe. The film is based on the true events of the Knight Ridder journalists "who were the only ones who 'got it right' in the lead-up to the 2003 Iraq War when they questioned the true nature of the Bush White House’s justification for the conflict."

Remember when the White House was selling America on the idea that Iraq was harboring weapons of mass destruction and then it turned out that it wasn't true? Well, this is the film that will tell that story. Well, at least the Hollywood version of that story, and Harrelson and Marsden will play the journalists.

The movie was directed by Rob Reiner (The Princess Bride, Misery, A Few Good Men, Stand By Me) and also co-stars Tommy Lee Jones. Reiner is a great filmmaker and this looks like it could be a solid film!

Shock and Awe will play exclusively on DIRECTV from June 14th to July 11th, before opening in theaters July 13, 2018.
