Woody Harrelson Is Set to Star in a Satire Film Set in the World of the Uber-Rich Titled TRIANGLE OF SADNESS

Woody Harrelson has signed on to star in an upcoming satire film titled Triangle of Sadness alongside Harris Dickinson and Charlbi Dean. The film is coming from writer and director Ruben Östlund (The Square), and the story is set against the “world of fashion and the uber-rich.”

Dickinson and Dean will play a model couple who are invited on to a luxury cruise. “When the yacht sinks they become stranded on a desert island with a group of billionaires and a cleaning lady — the only one who knows how to fish.” There’s no word on who Harrelson will play, but I imagine he will be playing one of the billionaires on the cruise.

The film is set to start shooting in Sweden later this month. It will also shoot in Greece and on a yacht on the Adriatic. The cast also includes Croatia’s Zlatko Buric, Germany’s Iris Berben and Sunnyi Melles, Sweden’s Henrik Dorsin, The Philippines’ Dolly De Leon, Denmark’s Vicky Berlin, and the UK’s Oliver Ford Davies (Star Wars Episodes I, II and III).

This sounds like it could make for a fun and interesting movie.
