Woody Harrelson Shares His Thoughts on Ron Howard Directing HAN SOLO

Shifting directors mid-production is tricky, especially with reshoots, and having a cast used to working with one director only having to switch to another. Things get scary. A lot of news has recently been going crazy with the fact that Ron Howard has now taken over for Phil Lord and Chris Miller as director of Lucasfilm's Han Solo movie. While of course, the studio will say everything is fine, it's much more interesting to see what the actors have to say, and... Woody Harrelson says everything's fine!

What did you expect. Of course, actors aren't going to diss the project, unless they never want to work again. But it is rather impressive the amount of faith Harrelson has in director Ron Howard. They have previously worked together in the film EDTV. In a recent interview, while promoting War for the Planet of the Apes, Harrelson was asked about the director swap in an interview with Uproxx and he had this to say:

"Oh, you can relax, man - because obviously the Force is with us. Ron is great. He's awesome. He's such a gentleman and so prepared. And I love Chris and Phil. But I think we did land in very capable hands."

I believe Harrelson. I mean, he's never given me a reason to doubt him before. Except for his film Now You See Me 2. Which, I mean, right off the bat, Now You See Me 2? The obvious title for that should have been Now You Don't. Just make the two and you're good.

Anyway, as I was saying, Harrelson seems confident that everything is going to be fine, while still respecting and appreciating the job that Chris Miller and Phil Lord did. The Force is with them. Even though, and I don't mean to be that guy, but is there even gonna be the Force in a Han Solo movie? That's not really his deal... Right?
