WORLD OF WARSHIPS: LEGENDS Is Having Two Big Events for the Holidays

World of Warships: Legends is getting ready to celebrate the holidays. On December 23, a new campaign entitled “The Last Battleship” will become available. If you finish the event campaign, you’ll receive the Jean Bart as an award.

The historical Jean Bart was completed and entered service in 1955, almost 10 years after HMS Vanguard. Though originally a 1936 design, Jean Bart was redesigned with experience from World War II and her sister ship Richelieu. In-game, she is all about speed. Equipped with an Engine Boost and a Main Battery Reload Booster, Jean Bart can flank and unleash devastation on a whim.

In addition, on December 30 players will be able to try out the Yamato, the first Legendary Tier ship. You’ll be able to play with the Yamato starting on that date if you’ve completed the Giant of the Sea missions. After the event, the Yamato will become unavailable while the World of Warships: Legends team does some fine-tuning.

Yamato is the first Legendary Tier ship in the game and is the most powerful ship in the game, bar none. She is nearly unstoppable thanks to her immense 460 mm guns and best-in-class survivability. In history, the Yamato was the largest and most powerful battleship ever built, and she retains that spot in World of Warships: Legends.

Also, throughout the two events players will be able to obtain Sakura Coins by completing missions, opening Super Santa Containers, and using the Yamato in battle. This special currency can be used to get the Tier IV Asashio and the Tier III G-101.

Finally, a new update has introduced some balance updates that include improved survivability for most Tier VII ships.

The Holidays are here! Try out the mighty Yamato by completing the Giant of the Sea combat missions and earn the Jean Bart through the new campaign! This update brings changes to high tier ships and battles! Watch the update overview trailer or read the Patchnotes for more details.
