Scott Cooper Developing Limited Drama Series ANGELS & DEMONS Based on True Crime Murder Story
Crazy Heart writer/director Scott Cooper, who we also know for directing Hostiles, Black Mass, Out of the Furnace, and the upcoming thriller Antlers, has paired with Black Bear Television in his TV debut to create the limited series Angels & Demons.
Cooper will write and direct each episode of the show that will tell the story that was originally written in a Pulitzer Prize-winning St. Petersburg Times article by Thomas French, described as “a powerful and personal true crime drama examining the tragic murder of three women whose bodies were found floating in the shallow tidewaters of Tampa Bay.”
This sounds like a gnarly story to take on, but an important one that will be interesting to watch. Cooper is not a stranger to the heavier storylines, so it sounds like it will turn out well. Are you interested in Angels & Demons?
