WWE Superstar Sasha Banks Confirmed for THE MANDALORIAN Season 2
WWE Sasha Banks has been rumored to be in The Mandalorian Season 2, and now her involvement has been confirmed as she appeared in the first trailer that was released by Disney+! We don’t know for sure who exactly she’s playing, but she is a Jedi.
In the trailer, we see Mando with The Child making their way through a city, and Banks is wearing a dark cloak, watching them, and at one point she even makes eye contact with Mando before disappearing.
It has been rumored that she could be playing Sabine Wren, but that has yet to be confirmed or denied. At this point, she could be playing anyone, but I can’t wait to learn more about who she’s playing and her mysterious role in the story.
The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.
Season 2 stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, and Giancarlo Esposito. The new season welcomes in additional cast members that include Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and maybe Captain Rex, Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth, and Michael Biehn in a yet to be revealed role.
Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed, and Robert Rodriguez.
The Mandalorian season 2 arrives on Disney+ on October 30, 2020.
