X-MEN '97 Voice Cast Has Already Started Recording Season 2

While we have yet to see anything officially release online for the first season of X-Men ‘97, production on Season 2 is already underway and the voice cast is currently recording.

Lenore Zann, who reprises her role as Rogue in the series, recently confirmed that she's back in the booth to record Rogue's dialogue for X-Men '97. She re-shared a post on X from an X-Men fan account announcing that production on X-Men '97 had begun and it came with the following comment: "Heck yeah Sugah! We've started – and I think you're gonna love it."

The Marvel series starts with Magneto and the X-Men after Professor X left for Shi'ar space in the original show's series finale. The series brings back the original voice cast including Cal Dodd (Wolverine), George Buza (Beast), Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm), Chris Potter (Gambit), Catherine Disher (Jean Grey), Adrian Hough (Nightcrawler), and Christopher Britton (Minister Sinister).

The official synopsis reads: "Storm and Wolverine try to continue the X-Men. Magneto comes in and wants to step up for Charles Xavier. Sinister comes in to try to end the X-Men once and for all."

Some footage of the series was shared with fans at Comic-Con, but no footage has been released online. DeMayo shared at the panel that work on the series is “deep in post on season one” and it’s expected to debut on Disney+ late in 2023.

I hope that this turns out to be good!
