X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Concept Art Reveals Magneto's Increased Power

Entertainment Weekly has yet another piece of info about an upcoming superhero movie, and they've shared a piece of concept art from X-Men: Apocalypse that shows off the increased power of Magneto (Michael Fassbender).

Director Bryan Singer explains:

“One of Apocalypse’s many powers is he can imbue other mutants with greater ones. Magneto is demonstrating a small taste of what he can do now. Magneto is already enormously powerful…. Now Apocalypse gives him powers far beyond what we’ve seen before.”

I know it's not a popular opinion, but I think the trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse looks awful. Oscar Isaac and the rest of the cast are great, and Singer clearly still has talent when it comes to directing X-Men movies (I've only seen it once, but I think Days of Future Past is my favorite of the franchise), but I was not impressed at all by that trailer, so I don't have any hope at all that this will turn out to be as good or better than the most recent film in the series. We'll find out when the movie hits theaters on May 27th, 2016.

If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check out the trailer recut with footage from the '90s X-Men animated series.
