X-MEN Franchise Writer and Producer Simon Kinberg is Developing a New Sci-Fi Series for Apple
Apple has officially greenlit a ten-episode season of a new sci-fi series that was created and co-written by Simon Kinberg and David Weil. Kinberg has been a writer and producer on the X-Men franchise for years and Weil is the creator of the Jordan Peele Nazi hunting Amazon series, The Hunt.
As for right now, no title or details on the sci-fi series have been revealed. But according to Deadline, it’s going to have “a large large budget” and it will be an “ambitious, character driven genre show that will go into production this summer.”
There’s some good talent on board and I’m always up for a big ambitious sci-fi project, so I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Stay tuned for more details.
