X-MEN: THE LAST STAND Gets Mashed Up With DARK PHOENIX Because Why Not?

The trailer for Marvel’s latest X-Men romp Dark Phoenix looked promising, but if you’re like me, you still can’t shake the taste of X-Men: The Last Stand from your mouth. That movie convinced me a long time ago that this may be a storyline that doesn’t transfer to film, although with Disney taking in the X-men brand I’m excited for them to give it another shot if only to introduce the Phoenix power for a possible Avengers vs. X-Men film.

Anyway, check out this trailer with the original film mixed with the new film’s audio, because why not? It can’t hurt the original film any more at this point:
