Xbox is Further Streamlining Their UI and Launching a New Mobile App Soon
Xbox is working hard to streamline their user interface. In doing so, they’ve not only made things easier to read and nicer to look at, but they’ve also made it faster. The Home screen now loads significantly faster when you boot the console up and when you go Home from a game. In addition, there’s now a single tab in the Guide where you’ll find your Parties and Chats.
Also, a new Xbox mobile app is getting ready to launch to further the social connections between gamers. Clips and updates will be shared with your phone automatically for you to then share via social media. This app will also let you send messages, launch parties, and check notifications no matter where you are.
All of these changes will be made to all Xbox apps and devices soon. No exact date has been provided, but I do think this is a pretty great way to create unity with the upcoming Xbox Series X when it launches in November. You can get a deeper look on Xbox Wire and in the video below.
