Yash Goes on a Bloody Rampage in the Full Trailer for TOXIC: A FAIRYTALE FOR GROWN-UPS

If you thought the previous footage from Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups was wild, the full trailer has arrived to show just how vicious this movie plans to get.

KVN Productions has released an absolutely massive trailer running nearly five minutes, and it unloads a ridiculous amount of gunfire, blood, violence, criminal chaos, and swagger. Seriously, this thing is savage.

Yash leads the film, which is directed by Geetu Mohandas, and the new trailer gives us our best look yet at the scale of the story. The earlier teasers were primarily selling the attitude and heightened style of the movie, but this footage digs much deeper into the characters, locations, criminal underworld, and sprawling story that Mohandas and Yash have put together.

Toxic is set in Goa across a period stretching from the early 1940s through the 1970s, with its story unfolding as colonial rule deteriorates and powerful local crime syndicates begin taking control. At the center of it all is a man building his own criminal empire in a world where dominance comes through violence.

The beautiful coastal setting hides something considerably uglier. Drug cartels and smugglers operate beneath Goa's beaches and colorful culture, and their routes eventually become battlegrounds as alliances crumble and paranoia starts taking over.

The official description reads: “Set in a bygone era, this gripping tale unfolds in the coastal paradise of Goa, where a powerful drug cartel pulls the strings behind a facade of sun-soaked beaches & vibrant culture.

Toxic is a savage action-thriller saga that plunges into the rot festering beneath paradise. Power is not granted – it is seized, and it always demands repayment.

“As the smuggling routes become battlegrounds, and loyalties unravel into suspicion, paranoia turns into a means of survival. In the end, the only force more powerful than the consequences of his choices is the abyss within him.”

This new trailer also spends plenty of time introducing the movie's huge collection of characters, along with several of its major locations. One of the most visually striking settings is a carnival that appears to play a significant role in the story. Between all the lights, crowds, costumes, weapons, and bloodshed, the carnival sequences look completely nuts.

And yes, there's a lot of bloodshed. This is an insanely violent movie trailer. People are shot, beaten, butchered, and generally destroyed throughout the footage. The brutality keeps escalating as the trailer goes on, with Mohandas leaning hard into the movie's hyper-stylized gangster aesthetic. It looks like a 20th-century mob epic cranked up into an ultra-violent action spectacle.

Everything shown so far makes Toxic look like it's going for something enormous, nasty, stylish, and completely unrestrained. The period setting and rise-of-a-criminal-empire story give it the bones of an old-school gangster saga, while the action appears determined to push the violence into much crazier territory.

Yash and Mohandas' Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups will be released in theaters worldwide on August 26th, 2026.
